Wyoming Seaton High, Cheyenne Known as "St. Mary's High School" and before that as "Holy Child Academy," Seaton High was part of St. Mary's School (the Cathedral parish in Cheyenne) then separated and renamed as Seaton with the costs and tuition needed for the secondary level. St. Mary's was (and is) a continuation of the "Holy Child Academy" which was in existence before becoming a parochial school under St. Mary's Cathedral parish. St. Mary's continues in existence as a Pre-K through 9th grade parochial school. The entire school facility, as well as the block on which it is located, has been sold to the State of Wyoming it is just across the street from the Capitol building and is scheduled to be torn down. The proceeds from the sale are being used to build a brand-new St. Marys School a few blocks away. |
